Policy — draft
Disclaimer
The limits of what this site claims are worth stating as plainly as what it publishes.
Information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about how sports competitions are organised. It is not professional, legal, financial, sporting or any other kind of advice, and it is not tailored to anyone's circumstances. Do not rely on it as the basis for a decision without checking the source named on the page.
No predictions and no offers
This site does not predict results, does not publish prices or forecasts, and does not rate or recommend any commercial service. No product or service is offered here, and nothing on this site should be read as an invitation to transact anything.
Some pages link to governing bodies and competitions so that a figure can be confirmed at source. Those links exist for verification. No link on this site is an affiliate link, a paid link or a sponsored placement.
Figures go stale
Competition structures change: playoff fields expand, clubs are added, conferences realign, rules are rewritten. Where this site states a figure that can change, it also states the date it was checked and where to re-check it.
That does not mean the figure is still correct after that date. A checked date records when the work was done, not a continuing guarantee. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the governing body.
Not a schedule or a results service
This site does not publish fixtures, kick-off times, results, standings or live scores. Those change continuously, and a mirror of them would be out of date without warning. Each hub points to the competition's own schedule instead.
No editorial endorsement of external sites
Linking to an organisation is not an endorsement of it, its views, its commercial practices or anything else it publishes. Once you follow an external link, you are subject to that site's terms and privacy practices, not this one's.
Accuracy and liability
The site is published on a best-effort basis with no warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for any purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the site owner accepts no liability for loss arising from use of or reliance on the content.
Where a page could not establish a fact, it says so. A recorded gap is a deliberate statement that something is unknown, not an oversight.
Reporting a problem
If a page is wrong, the most useful thing you can do is report it, naming the page and the exact figure. Use the contact page.
