About this site

SportsBooking.info is an independent reference to how sports competitions are structured. This page describes what it publishes, what it deliberately does not, and what is still unresolved.

What this site publishes

Explanations of how sports competitions work: the difference between a league and a cup, what a division or a conference decides, how a group stage leads into a knockout round, what promotion and relegation mean, and how a season is arranged across the year. Each sport hub covers the durable structure of the sport and, where a figure does change, states that figure with the date it was checked and the body to re-check it with.

What this site deliberately does not publish

  • No predictions or tips. Nothing here forecasts a result, and no page implies a likely outcome.
  • No live fixtures or standings. A mirrored schedule or table is out of date within hours without saying so. Each hub points to the competition's own schedule instead.
  • No accounts and no user-generated content. There is no login, no commenting, no forum and no submission feature. Nothing on this site is written by visitors.

How pages are written

Two kinds of statement appear here, and they are treated differently.

Durable structure is explained without dates, because it rarely changes: what an innings is, why a two-legged tie is decided on aggregate, what a wild card is for.

Changeable figures — club counts, playoff field sizes, qualification places, season windows — carry the date they were checked and the source to confirm them against. Where a figure is under active review by the competition itself, the page says so rather than picking a version.

Where a fact could not be established, the page records the gap instead of estimating. That is why several pages state plainly that something is not known.

Editorial record

Content written
19 September 2026. Structure and figures were assembled on that date.
Independent editorial review
Not carried out. No second party has reviewed these pages. No review date is published because no review has happened.
Named author or editor
Not established. No individual is named on this site. A name will be published only when the site owner supplies an authorised person to credit, because crediting someone who has not agreed to it would misrepresent the page.
Update schedule
None agreed. There is no published cadence, so no promise is made about when a page will be revisited.
Corrections
Errors can be reported through the contact page. A correction is applied by changing the page; there is no separate corrections log at present.

Funding and advertising

This site carries reserved advertisement areas and no live advertising. The placeholders are marked as advertisement space, they load no third-party scripts, and ads.txt contains no authorised seller lines — meaning no advertising system has been authorised to sell inventory here. There are no sponsored articles, no paid placements and no affiliate links.

If advertising is ever introduced, the advertising disclosure will be updated first, and any paid or sponsored placement will be labelled as such.

Accessibility

The site is built to target WCAG 2.2 AA and has been checked for colour contrast, keyboard operation, visible focus, browser zoom and narrow-screen reflow. No formal audit has been commissioned and no certification is claimed. Known limitations are listed in the accessibility statement.

Outstanding items on this site's own record

Three things are genuinely unresolved rather than hidden: no editor or author is named, no independent editorial review has taken place, and no update schedule has been agreed. These are recorded here and in the deployment documentation so that a reader — and the site owner — can see exactly what remains to be done.
